Spray Bottle Standoff

 

Few of my comics are inspired by real life events, however this one is. My cat climbs on the kitchen counter to do cat things.. naps in a cupboard, taste tests sink dishes, and once gnawed and clawed my loaf of bread. She's a great cat, but alas, the spray bottle was introduced to inspire obedience. Which it does! for about 3-minute intervals. The other day I chased her out of the kitchen and she bolted as if the water bottle was a flame thrower. I'm afraid it's more of a game than a behavior modifier, but it's a game we're both willing to play. She'll continue to be cute, and I'll continue to hide my food better.
